Pop-Tarts is a brand of toaster pastries that the Kellogg Company introduced in 1964. Pop-Tarts have a sugary filling sealed inside two layers of thin, rectangular pastry crust. Most varieties are also frosted. Although sold pre-cooked, they are designed to be warmed inside a toaster or microwave oven. They are usually sold in pairs inside Mylar (previously foil) packages.

Order Selector (Former Employee) says"every friday comes and every week my fiancé has to go there and find out why he wasn’t paid friday like everyone else. has to call 1000 times and then he finally gets paid tuesday or wednesday the following week! don’t work here you will not get paid, well you will eventually if you want the aggravation of never knowing when you will get paid or if you will then by all means apply. i suggest you find another job! Cons: no paycheck! work for free"
Warehouse Associate (Former Employee) says"The good thing about working at Staffmark -payday was every Friday. But the pay was low and if you did get a high paying assignment you be working every day. Please make sure you look at your paystubs and make sure they are paying you on what you agree on. Don’t expect office know who you are or what you talk the other day, like the position. They will forget your name and the conversations you had. It’s was the worst temp service I every work but it did put money in my pocket until I found a stable job and permit. Do your application at home so won’t be there all day. They do drug testing (urine test ) there. They will ask for resumes even though you’ll still have to feel out an application. They say they do temp to hire. I have seen people get hire on.But I was getting the short end of the stick.. Cons: Low pay or high pay but no life balance."

Horrible jobs and pay. Ppl were on drugs most jobs they didnt test. In the bathroom on the ground. Needle in arms and all. Cons: Lol everything"
Sorter/Packer (Former Employee) says"Staffmark should be a last resort. They’re so unorganized and unprofessional. Communication is horrible. They barely respond, and when they do respond it’s days or weeks later. Office barely likes to answer the phone or check voicemails. And the assignment managers that they do have, have HORRIBLE attitudes. All around Fife and Summer. Cons: Communication, Leadership, Organization."

Temporary Employee (Former Employee) says"i was recently doing a temporary job due to the covid pandemic. the project i was working ended and i was advised that i no longer needed to continue working on things in regard to that project. i asked about other job opportunities and never got a response and then come to find out they claimed i quit without noticed granted they told me the project i was currently working was over. Cons: Everything"
Assmbler (Former Employee) says"I was told to be at an orientation for staffmark at 10 In the morning on my way there they called me and ask where I was. Turns out the orientation started at 8:30 Not 10. They set me up with another orientation in which I was automatically descrimated against by the HR because their mistakes in making me miss the first orientation. I do not appreciate being belittled and I would never recommend working for these pushovers Cons: Rude and unprofessional"
Account Manager (Former Employee) says"My coworkers were great, often made to do what management was supposed to be doing, such as training me and assisting me. I hadn’t been trained, just thrown in and then the manager went on vacation. I was told I would be trained once she came back but instead she threw me into more work, as an inexperienced first time account manager, I could have done well but without the right guidance and training it didn’t last long before I became very overwhelmed. I was given accounts and not explained anything about them and expected to know what to do"
Recruiting Manager (Current Employee) says"Before I was hired, I was told I would be hired directly with the company and was told about all the wonderful benefits I'd received. That was a lie. I was told at the last minute they had to hire me as temp-to-hire because it would be faster to get me started. Many of us recruiters were told that. We stay overtime and are always doing so much, which is fine but it's just not appreciated and the pressure from management is always on but we as "temp" recruiters do not receive bonuses or able to be part of any trips that the office may win even though we're putting in the hard work as well. It takes at least two years to be hired on with them. Staffmark isn't as great as they make it seem."
